DR M ABOOBAKER

Dr Aboobaker graduated in 2003 from the University of Natal. He completed his internship and community service followed by work experience in a central London academic hospital for two years. During this period, he obtained invaluable experience in first world medical care and imported that back into his own practice. Crescent Medical Centre was established in 2010 in Umhlanga and expanded in 2011 with a satellite practice in Phoenix. Following his interest in diabetes, he completed the diabetes care course through the Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology. He furthered his studies to include Travel Medicine accredited by Wits University. In 2018, he completed a post graduate diploma in Occupational Medicine at UKZN. He has a passion for care of the elderly including stroke rehabilitation and diabetes care optimisation.
